Q: "Can a woman notice the difference between a circumcised or uncircumcised male during intercourse?"... Sumner, via FHM.com.au
A: Woah, Sumner! You, sir, have managed to stump us and simultaneously start an office conversation that looks set to involve HR in an official capacity. Nice work.
Meanwhile, renowned sexologist Dr Gabrielle Kennedy (
drgabrielle.com) says the difference is negligible. “No, there really isn’t a difference. Besides, the most sensitive bits of the vagina are on the outside. The nerve endings are on the outer third of the vagina, the inner two thirds have very few nerve endings.
"They can feel pressure, but that’s about it. There may be a tiny difference in the initial penetration but the construction of the organ really makes no difference. It’s a small piece of soft foreskin and doesn’t have a big action role.”
