You hit the gym the requisite four times a week and you’ve cut out the late-night trips to Macca’s, but you still can’t seem to get rid of that gut. All those Friday night bourbons and Sunday arvo beers with the boys might be to blame.
Not all drinks are created equal, so next time you’re standing at the bar, consider the list below before ordering. You’ll find the kilojoule content for the most common drinks – and for a man-sized portion rather than the fairy sizes provided elsewhere. You can’t be expected to do math after the third pint, now can you?
Note that the figures are averages.

Next time you’re at the pub and your mates start hitting the bourbon and Cokes, go for a vodka, lime and soda to save a bunch of kilojoules. You can thank me when you get home at 3am and your girl wants to get it on because you’re just so damn sexy with that flat belly.
