In true Hitchcock style, Shutter Island is a dark and devious brainteaser where nothing is as it seems and everything is to be feared. Quality performances from DiCaprio, Ruffalo and Kingsley, a chilling music score, ominous set pieces and expert filmmaking from Scorsese makes this a thriller not to be missed.
